Welcome to my blog, I'm going to try and keep it up to date with photos, drawings and a diary of the trek. Here is my mini fundraising card that I will whip out and give to all unsuspecting potential sponsors.

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?

I don't know how this happened but my sister got me to sign up with her for a 6 day trek in Nepal in March. I must admit, I do like the occasional walk with the dogs around the block, but 6hrs UPHILL trekking for a whole week is way beyond my ability. Training started last week; getting up at the crack of dawn was the first challenge having not seen daybreak since the school runs finished 3 years ago. All training blogs/manuals etc recommend at least a 3 month slow build up, so with only 39 days to go things are really quite desperate. Luckily we have a really steep road up to our house so I am trudging up and down every morning while two bewildered dogs sit waiting for me at the top.
